The MakoBond AP-160 is a two-part epoxy adhesive that demonstrates remarkable impact resistance, as well as shear and peel strength. Designed to meet high quality standards and uphold environmental safety requirements, the AP-160 is ideally suited for applications in industries such as construction, transportation, aerospace, and sporting goods repair. Plus, it offers easy mixing, with a thin paste mixed viscosity.
The technical details for the AP-160 offset are as follows:
- Mix ratio of 2:1
- Pot life of 90 minutes (assuming 25°C)
- Handling strength within four hours
- Shore D hardness of 78D
- Lap shear strength of 4,900 psi (aluminum to aluminum)
- Shelf life of 18 months (equivalent to the Huntsman® Araldite 2015 and exceeding that of the 3M® DP460 and Loctite® EA 60)
